Breakthrough Legal Counsel, PLC is a boutique law firm dedicated to providing creative
solutions for life & estate management planning, with a special emphasis on making sure
that the family pets are included in those plans - giving Pet Owners the assurance that,
along with the more traditional provisions set in place to protect their (human) family
members, their pets will also be legally protected and continue to receive the same quality
of care that they have always known. We believe that our deliberate focus on this narrow
and often overlooked aspect of the law causes us to be the best at what we do, and allows
us to make a positive difference in the world around us.
We primarily serve the Hampton Roads region of Virginia (cities of Norfolk, Virginia Beach,
Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News and surrounding areas such as
Smithfield and Yorktown). For our clients who may not be able to meet with us during
regular business hours, we have in-home, evening and weekend appointments available.
