The FurEver CareTM Life & Estate Management Plan
The FurEver CareTM Estate Management Plan typically includes 8 key
components that provide legal protection for all family members - with or
without fur - in one complete package:
(1) Your FurEver CareTM Pet Trust (a revocable living trust), drafted to meet
the specific needs of your pets in every circumstance - from unexpected travel
delays, to emergencies where you may be hospitalized for a few days, to longer
periods where you may be disabled or in a long-term care facility, and lastly,
protecting your pets in the event of your death;
(2) Your General Durable Power of Attorney, drafted to work hand-in-hand
with your Pet Trust;
(3) Your Health Care Decision Plan, which includes your Advance Medical
Directive, Health Care Power of Attorney, and HIPAA Release forms - allowing
you to establish specific instructions for your medical care and appoint another
person to make health care decisions on your behalf, as needed;
(4) Your Simple Pour-Over Will, designed to move your residual estate
assets into your Pet Trust upon your death, providing for the continued care of
your pets;
(5) Technical language for your life insurance and retirement account
beneficiary designations;
(6) Estate planning notes providing our recommendations for how you
should re-title and/or re-designate your assets in order to carry out your estate
planning goals;
(7) Memorandum Gift of Tangible Personal Property forms with
instructions for use; and
(8) A courtesy standalone copy of your FurEver CareTM Emergency Pet
Care Plan detailing the unique needs of your pets.
